Students’ future academic success has roots that start from early childhood development. Between the ages of 3-6, important skills like self-discipline, time management, concentration, curiosity, critical thinking as well as love for learning new things are formed. Our designed exercises, which kids see as as games and fun activities, require serious mental tasks like memory training, fluent speed reading and mental math. By the 1st Grade (6 years old), your child will not only be fully prepared for Elementary school, but will also love to read, count and learn new things.
Students will learn to be creative, apply logical & creative thinking to solving problems, as well as progress in core subjects like Math, Science (Nature), and Language arts. Using our own educational booklets developed by Discovery Academy’s founder, students learn at their own pace without any pressure. In addition, kids enjoy art and music activities every week.
Children model both the activities and the way in which they are done.Your child will see the attention paid to each individual, respectful social interactions, as well as thoughtful speech and healthy movement.Through these, children develop important values such as respect for self and others, kindness, awareness and a sense of wonder.
Our program starts with understanding each child’s level, and working from there. Using Montessori kits and products, your child will participate in a variety of age-appropriate activities that are educational, engaging and most important – fun! As they start to read and follow simple instructions they advance to the Academic curriculum.
